When run with a silent command, HPIA reaches out to the HP servers to download what is needed for the current model and running Windows build. Running HPImageAssistant.exe as an admin will give you a GUI with relevant information about the current machine. Overall, HPIA also runs faster than SSM.ĭownload and extract the latest HPIA version. HPIA has some logic built in for handling these types of issues in the proper order.
